VERTICAL BLIND MACHINES

VBr-S

The Vertical Blind Machine   that gives you quick, easy sewing of vertical louvres

The VBr-S machine is designed to process cut and crease louvers.

It ensures that tops and bottoms of vertical louvres are sewn accurately at the correct pocket sizes with minimal skill required by an operator, eliminating the need for a skilled machinist.

OPERATION

A pre-creased louvre is fed in under a clear acrylic stop squaring with a pneumatic guide. A one touch paddle triggers start of louvre feed and needle feed sewing. An electronic eye controls the start and finishing (with back tacks) of the sewing operation. The operator is not required to feed the louvre and so during sewing he or she can be getting the next louvre ready to feed. In this way an output of 140 louvres per hour is easily achieved without minimal training and no sewing skills required.

Welding of Vertical Blinds

Ultrasonic welding suited to some fabrics

A pre-creased louvre can in theory also be welded instead of sewn. Many of the fabrics commonly used in verticals are unsuited to this process, however if your fabric range can be tailored to ultrasonic weldable fabrics (typically with higher synthetic content) then we can offer you a machine solution for this. It is vital that the welded bond penetrate beyond the fabric coating otherwise the bond will be easily broken.

We are happy to perform or arrange tests on your fabric to confirm suitability.
